Atlantic Emergency Associates (AEA) is currently seeking energetic emergency medicine trained physicians for several job opportunities at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC), Atlantic City, New Jersey.
AEA is an independent democratic physician group that provides services to the emergency departments of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, Pomona and the satellite emergency department in Hammonton, New Jersey.
ARMC serves over 115,000 patients annually at the three sites. Both hospital campuses are certified Chest Pain Centers and Stroke Centers. The Atlantic City campus is an accredited Level 2 Trauma Center with 1775 major trauma patients seen last year. There are in-house surgeons who respond to all traumas. One of the emergency physicians responds to all trauma alert patients when necessary. Actively involved with EMS including our transport program that includes BLS/ALS & Air Medical.
A PAC system providing computer access to review all radiologic studies is available at both facilities. The ED chart is MedHost electronic charting, which enables efficient documentation for all patients.
The ARMC satellite emergency department in Hammonton is staffed with an emergency physician 24 hours daily. A new state-of-the-art facility is currently being constructed with a projected completion time of July 2011.

URGENT CARE CENTER

Atlantic Emergency Associates (AEA) is currently seeking BC/BE physicians to provide coverage at a BRAND NEW Urgent Care Center opened in Somers Point, NJ in conjunction with the AtlantiCare Physician Group. The center opened in May 2011.
The Urgent Care provides care for all non-life threatening emergencies, upper respiratory infections, minor fractures, simple lacerations, and other uncomplicated illnesses and injuries. Full plain radiograph capabilities and point of care testing are available. Exceptional support staff includes RNs and medical assistants.
AEA is an independent democratic physician group that provides services to the Emergency Departments of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, Pomona and the satellite Emergency Department in Hammonton, New Jersey and now, the new 7-bed Urgent Care Center in Somers Point.
Our emergency medicine providers work in both the Atlantic City Campus (Level 2 Trauma Center) in Atlantic City, and at the Mainland Campus (Heart Institute) in Pomona, NJ. Both emergency departments are certified Chest Pain Centers, and certified Stroke Centers. We provide emergency care to more than 120,000 patients annually at these two facilities.
Additionally we staff the Satellite Emergency Department in Hammonton 24 hours per day and the Urgent Care Center located in Somers Point 11 hours per day.
Currently we are recruiting qualified candidates to cover the Urgent Care Center with full-time or part-time employment available. Additional coverage in the Emergency Department listed above can be offered to qualified BC/BE Emergency Medicine-trained candidates. FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Immediate Nurse Practitioner positions are available for both full-time and part-time.
Once in a lifetime opportunity with a rapidly growing, independent, democratic group and hospital system for a Family Nurse Practitioner to work in 2 newly constructed Emergency Departments Fast Track Units only minutes from the south Jersey beaches. Our second newly constructed department opened in October 2007. Annual volumes are 48K plus at each hospital which is staffed by BC/BE Emergency Physician double and triple coverage daily.
Excellent back-up specialty availability including in-house trauma, pediatrics, anesthesia, and obstetrics.
