AEA is an independent democratic emergency medicine group that provides services to the emergency departments of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City and Pomona. Additionally we staff the Satellite Emergency Department in Hammonton, New Jersey. ARMC serves over 129,000 patients annually at the three sites and over 13,000 patients at the Urgent Care.
ARMC’s Atlantic City Campus has a state-of-the-art Emergency Center that was built in 2007 which includes a Psychiatric Intervention Program. The City Campus also includes the regions only Level II Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Centers and Neurosciences Institute. A Pediatric Specialty Care Unit is also located in the City Campus.
The Mainland Campus of ARMC is located in Pomona and has the regions only Interventional Cardiac Catherization lab and awarding winning Cardio-Vascular Surgery Programs. Mainland Campus service lines also include an in-patient Psychiatric Unit, Maternity Unit and the region’s only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
ARMC’s Hammonton Satellite Emergency Department (SED) is located in Hammonton, New Jersey. It was built in 2010 with 13 private patient care areas, point-of-care laboratory testing and on-site radiology services. Inter-facility transfers from the SED are facilitated by the AtlantiCare EMS Department.
